Just in case you didn't notice, there was a seismic shift in the amount of love in the universe on November 25th at 7:05 am. Winona Lou Grossman was born at that moment and life has been a wonder ever since...

The details: 9 lbs, 14 ozs. (mostly cheeks), 21.25 inches (not including the hair). Cute cute cute as a button.

Birth story, the cliff notes: Winona was a water baby--born in a birthing tub to alleviate some of Julie's pain (it was a natural birth, no meds), and create a gentle buffer between comfy, liquidy womb and cold, dry world for Winona. Mike was in the tub with Julie and he "caught" Winnie--and after some time, cut the umbilical cord. She entered the world peacefully (our midwife had to encourage us to tickle her feet to get her to cry/breathe)... and has been a peaceful, joyous addition to our world ever since...

We will try to keep this page updated so you can check in on Winona's growth and changes at your own inclination and convenience. This, as opposed to bombarding you with an unwieldy amount of photo attachments every time her parents are convinced that she's just done the cutest thing EVER....
